Our steel looped cables are an excellent choice and pair exquisitely with our J-Rail and J-Ral MAX picture hanging systems. Combine this looped cable with our S-hook and our Zipper® or Smartspring® picture hook and you have a cable/hook combination that can hold up to 44 lbs of artwork on 36 inches of rail. Add two hooks to any size frame and you get a maximum weight bearing capacity of 88 lbs per linear yard. An excellent choice for heavy duty frames that require a sturdy alternative for hanging artwork of any kind.

Each cable comes factory tested for weights well beyond the weight bearing capacities listed. When used correctly we guarantee all our systems for quality craftsmanship and maximum weight capacities for 20+ years. Includes one 59 1/16" cable.

The perlon cord is already pretty strong, so using this cable on heavier pieces of art definitely gave me peace of mind.

The wire is another great product from STAS, it allows the hook to slide easily but yet allows great grip. A well-built product, even has anti fray qualities.
