This cord feels very sturdy, and it is not very visible. In dim light, you'll see it's shadow, but when it's bright, it is hardly noticeable. This length is sufficient for most normal apartments/houses and normal painting/prints.

These really are perfect and work so well with the Zippers.  The only reason I am giving 4 stars is that I wish the cords had some sort of loop or clip that would hold the excess cord neatly behind the picture.  I know these can be cut, but I don't want to in case I need for a different application.

I was skeptical and really wasn’t convinced that the Stas Picture Hanging System was the answer, but I also knew our wall couldn’t take any more nail holes. My husband on the other hand was completely convinced it would work. OK OK I’ll admit it He was right!
Ordering was easy, customer service helpful, communication great, fast shipping, easy installation and finished product looks and works much better than I ever expected.

The Perlon cord with loop is unobtrusive and sturdy.  I hung 2 pictures on each cord and they could hold 2 or 3 more if I had the longer cord.
