The classic ogee style wooden picture rail moulding has been used from the Victorian era to stylishly hang artwork in homes while protecting the walls from damage. These can also be used as chair rails.
Made of high quality Ayous hardwood, also known as African maple or African whitewood, this wood does not warp making it a perfect choice providing longevity for your picture rail. Use in conjunction with our molding hook kits and you’ve got yourself a beautiful decorative wood classical hanging system!
These picture rails can be stained or painted, and can be installed with screws, nails, or glue (not provided). The weight capacity is 40 lb/yd, please note the weight capacity may vary for glued rails, as it will depend on the surface they are glued onto. Dimensions are 11/16†x 1 3/4â€, these rails are FSC and PEFC certified.
